        - Antagnod - Mandrou - Alpe Mètsan     This
excursion will conjugate an asphalt part with a good dirt between woods.
         You
have to almost reach Antagnod, so look it section if you want to know
more. Then choose the road to Mandrou, located at 1847 meters of
altitude. From there reaching Mètsan is really easy; by bike it's good
to follow the road starting from Mandrou's football ground, while the
carriageable is longer but doesn't have any difficulties. Finally,
two words about potable water. From Champoluc you will find the first
drinking through in Magneaz, and another one in Pallenc; also Mandrou
has got one, thanks to a spring a little hide in the right part of the
village, just after the car park. Mètsan has water too. If
you want to get there from St. Jacques my advice is to visit Champoluc -
Frachey - St.Jacques - Blanchard - Mètsan Alp section in this website.
